Gary Fisher
Gary is a UCT graduate. He was a member of CBS Property Group’s executive team from inception in 1994 through to its disposal in 2007. He subsequently launched British Capital, a Guernsey based property investment company, and founded the Property Foundation, a non-profit property development company. Gary more recently served a term with the Western Cape Government as the Head of Public Works. He currently serves as Executive Chairman of the Capitalgro Board.
Avishkaar Singh
Avishkaar, more fondly known as Avi, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2018, having completed his articles at Deloitte Cape Town and London Offices. Prior to joining RDC Properties Limited and Capitalgro in 2021, he spent 2 years in Deloitte Consulting servicing a range of top tier clients in the JSE listed space.
He is currently a senior manager at RDC Properties Limited holding the position as the Group Financial Controller, responsible for the financial management and reporting for the listed group and affiliated subsidiaries. On 1 September 2024, Avi joined the Capitalgro Board of Directors.
Malize Jacobs
Malize is a seasoned property and operations executive with more than 25 years of experience in retail and commercial property management. She holds qualifications from the University of Pretoria, the UCT Graduate School of Business, and is a qualified UCT Paralegal Practitioner. She began her career with Rand Merchant Bank Properties in 1998, where she progressed through various management roles overseeing several shopping centres. She later joined Hyprop in 2007, where she managed a flagship retail asset and subsequently assumed responsibility for a commercial office portfolio in Gauteng.In 2018, she joined the Norval Foundation as GM Facilities and Operations, progressing to Chief Operations Officer and Board Director. She joined RDC in June 2024 and currently heads up property management team as COO Property Management.
Shaheen Adams
Shaheen has extensive experience as a property executive across the private, public and NPO sectors. He has served as the Chief Director of Immovable Asset Management for the Western Cape Government’s R100bn-plus property portfolio, as well as the Property Executive for Communicare, Cape Town’s largest social housing institution, managing a portfolio of approximately 3500 tenants. He now serves as a director on the Capitalgro board in addition to leading the property management operation. Working with a nimble and highly capable team of property professionals, he is positioning the organisation for future growth by fostering a culture of trust, accountability and high performance. Shaheen holds a Bachelor of Business Science (B.Bus.Sc) degree, as well as a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree from the University of Cape Town (UCT), awarded with double academic scholarships. He also currently serves as a board member for the Peninsula School Feeding Association.
Jacopo Pari
Jacopo has a Civil Engineer Master’s degree. His career started in Accenture, the strategy and Management Consulting firm. This engagement enabled him to gain wide exposure to large and complex corporate environments both in the EU and US. A few years later he joined the family construction Company in Italy. This work experience, both technical and managerial, was conducive to his appointment as Group General Manager for the Realestate Group of Companies in 2009. He has been involved in Construction, Property Development and Investment in Botswana since then. He was appointed as RDC’s Chief Executive Officer for Botswana in February 2015, and is in charge of the Company’s international development. On 1st December 2022, Jacopo was joined the Capitalgro board.
